In 2013 the OGA celebrated its 50th anniversary with a ‘Round Britain Challenge’ incorporating many events around the UK and Ireland.

A fleet of gaff-rigged, classic and traditional boats completed a circumnavigation of the UK, participating in events at many ports and harbours on their way, joined by groups of local boats and culminating in a gathering of over 200 boats in Cowes.

The map below provides links to the ports and harbours visited by participating boats. Select the sailing boats, anchors or champagne glasses to find out about passage of vessels, home ports and party venues. Where possible, there are links to blogs and other information from the map pins.
